Shakewell
Shakewell is a seven-piece musical brotherhood of lifelong friends and collaborators, all hailing from Western Montana. With a shared love for groove and songwriting, each member draws upon their experience to conceive an original breed of funk, jazz, soul, and rock n’ roll.
Fresh off the release of their performance on the season premiere of 11th & Grant with Eric Funk on Montana PBS, Shakewell is proudly putting out some of their best material yet. The program features songs from their most recent album, “3peat”. Recorded at Iron Wax studios under the sage guidance of funk icon, Al Evans, Shakewell aims to blend his seasoned style with their own brand of fast, heavy, and animated funk and soul.
Collectively, they have shared the stage with acts such as Lake Street Dive, Fitz and the Tantrums, Snarky Puppy, Galactic, The New Mastersounds, Thievery Corporation, Orgone, Dumstaphunk, The Wailers, and more. Shakewell is on a mission to leave no dancefloor unshaken.

The Dead & Down
The Dead & Down are an exploratory roots-rock band inspired as much by the vast landscapes and dramatic mountain ranges of their Montana home as they are by the myriad musical influences that weave through their sound.
Based around the introspective songwriting and dusty vocals of frontman Taylor Burlage, the band navigates sonic trails between rust-flecked alt country and swampy rock ‘n’ roll, with detours through psychedelia and genre-bending experimentation.
They have opened for the likes of Paul Cauthen, Futurebirds, and the Last Revel and have hit the stage at Under the Big Sky Music Festival, Red Ants Pants Music Festival and more. Their recently released sophomore album, No Broken Bones, displays the sound of a band hungry to find out what lies beyond the next ridge and only just beginning their journey.
